Urska Starc Peceny and Tomi Ilijas have been participating at the 64th Meeting of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Commission for Europe in Zagreb. They aim to foster participatory approach and to continuously improve sustainability and resilience in the tourism sector as well as to connect key stakeholders responsible for management of tourism.
At the Workshop on growth, innovation and partnerships moderated by the CELTH / European Tourism Futures Institute we were spreading the ideas of Tourism 4.0 and received feedback and endorsement of Tourism 4.0 research and development aspirations of creating solutions for tourism for the future that needs to align with the carrying capacity of destinations in order to allow for tourism ecosystem we all want to experience and live in.
