The project team met in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ferrara, Italy on April 9th 2024 for their third in-person meeting. The meeting served as an update on the project’s proceedings and joint planning of future steps.
Additionally, a workshop was scheduled for students and professors of the University of Ferrara, to showcase the project's latest achievements in the area of 3D digitisation for architecture and urban heritage, landscape and archaeology.
The 5Dculture project enriches the offer of European 3D digital cultural heritage assets in the data space and fosters their reuse in important domains such as education, tourism and the wider cultural and creative sectors towards socially and economically sustainable outcomes. The project facilitates the management, enrichment and reuse of 3D content and deploys a series of digital technologies and tools.
