A two-day conference dedicated to the synergy of sports with international business trends, “Mastercard 255 to the Moon”, was taking place in Planica during the finals of the Ski Jumping World Cup. Over 1.000 enthusiasts of new technologies followed the conference live and online. Numerous experts from the fields of web3, crypto, blockchain technologies and NFTs discussed innovations, investment opportunities and the importance of developing innovative technologies, which are undoubtedly our future.
On the second day an inspiring panel discussion on the future of Metaverse was organized. The conversation featured Nordic Blockchain and Innovations Lead, Magnus Jones, World Metaverse Council's Jane Thomason, and The Nemesis' Riccardo Zanini, with Dr Urška Starc Peceny, Tourism 4.0 Lead and CIO at Arctur as the moderator. The participants of the panel explored how blockchain technology, web3, and NFTs will shape the Metaverse of tomorrow. Jane Thomason pointed out that Metaverse is more than just entertainment, it can be used for learning, urban planning, healthcare. It also allows for a better offer and more efficient services to users in an easier way. Overall, all involved anticipate exciting times ahead!
