Innovative cross-domain solutions are set to redefine the future of tourism, focusing on collaboration, sustainability, and transformative practices. During the Days of Slovene Tourism on November 19th, Arctur and Tourism 4.0 hosted a dynamic info day to showcase the cross-domain solutions for the Cross-Re-Tour project, designed to tackle industry challenges, enhance visitor experiences, and drive environmental and economic resilience across borders.
The presented solutions are designed to address key challenges and cross-industry solutions by fostering greater cooperation between domains while promoting sustainable practices. With a focus on innovation, these proposals aim to enhance the tourism experience, streamline operations, and ensure long-term environmental and economic resilience for participating destinations.
By emphasizing cross-domain collaboration, the proposed solutions encourage the sharing of resources, knowledge, and strategies, enabling different industries to work together more effectively. Sustainability is at the heart of the initiative, with strategies designed to minimize environmental impact and support local communities while offering authentic and enriching experiences for visitors.
The info day served as a platform for engagement, discussion, and refinement of these ideas, ensuring that the potential of the Cross-Re-Tour project is maximized. The event also highlighted the Call for Proposals that opened up on the 21st of November and is available until the end of January for companies to submit their proposals and get funding.
