Project partners of the SEISMEC project met in Rotterdam to kick-off the activities for this project that demonstrates the concept of human-centricity across a wide array of industry sectors, scales and sociotechnical contexts in the EU. By effectively empowering workers in the co-design and co-development of new technologies, the project facilitates the journey towards a skills-driven and creativity-infused industrial landscape; one that is built around high-quality, sustainable jobs, and prioritises overall worker security and satisfaction.
During its implementation phase, SEISMEC will carry out pilots in 14 countries. In Slovenia, the pilot will focus on the tourism sector. Arctur will work together with Green Karst destination, to develop a platform for monitoring tourism flows, including demand estimation methods that allow for better work allocation between tourism providers, collaboration between providers in the region for joint business advantages, and skilling to enable workers to take advantage of these resources.
