
The Web3Tour project, a Creative Europe–funded initiative driving the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural tourism sector, is entering a phase with two milestone events: a Master Trainers Workshop on October 1, 2025, and the project’s Final Event on October 22, 2025. Both gatherings mark important steps in building capacity, sharing results, and amplifying the impact of Web3 technologies on sustainable cultural tourism (SCT).
Train the Trainers Workshop – October 1, 2025
On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 14:00 CET, Web3Tour will launch its “Train the Trainers” workshop online via Zoom. This specialized session is designed to empower innovation intermediaries, educators, and professionals to become Master Trainers in Web3.0 technologies, focusing on applications for the cultural tourism industry.
Highlights of the program include:

- A dual focus on subject mastery and training methodology.

Following its series of mini open workshops, mentoring sessions, and an intensive six-month Acceleration Program supporting 30 SMEs across Cyprus, Greece, and Slovenia, Web3Tour will conclude with a high-profile Final Event on the 22nd of October.
Planned as a pan-European digital conference, the Final Event will:
- Showcase the results of the accelerator and the wider project.
- Feature innovative SMEs presenting Web3-enabled solutions in sustainable tourism and cultural heritage.
- Bring together projects and European networks, fostering collaboration across initiatives.
- Explore synergies with flagship gatherings expanding the project’s reach within Europe’s innovation landscape.
The Final Event will also spotlight cross-project collaboration through competitions co-organized with the T4T platform, granting select SMEs a spotlight presentation slot to inspire best practices and demonstrate the real-world potential of Web3 technologies in tourism.
