The Association of Municipalities and Towns of Slovenia organised a webinar for municipalities focused on Preparation for the tourist season under the COVID-19 restrictions. They brought together various experts in the field of tourism as well as representatives of municipalities to discuss the impacts and potentials that the pandemic will have for the tourism sector in order to introduce proposals for actions with the purpose of restarting the tourism industry.
More than 70 participants attended the webinar to get information, ideas and possible solutions. Among speakers, Emil Juvan, University of Primorska and Urška Starc Peceny, Arctur, were representing Tourism 4.0 Partnership as experts of data driven tourism when discussing ways in which innovative technologies can be beneficial for all stakeholders before, during and after the pandemic.
