Many partners from the Tourism 4.0 Partnership are developing T4.0 tools within the Tourism 4.0 Demo Pilot project. One of them is based on blockchain technology. Therefore, Tomi Ilijaš, Arctur and Tomaž Furlan, Lucis, have presented the role of technology in sustainable tourism at the Slovene Blockchain Partnership Meeting hosted by the Technology park Ljubljana.
The ambition of the Slovene Blockchain Partnership is to foster digital transformation of Slovenia and increase the general knowledge of (blockchain) technology among its citizens as well as the boost of use of the blockchain technology in business and administration. In order to achieve that the collaboration of all stakeholders from ministries, blockchain companies, educational institutions to local communities and representatives of the civil society in required.
