The final conference in Girona, Catalonia was the final activity of the international project WEAVE, which more than exceeded its goals and developed tools that will facilitate work with European digitised cultural heritage. During the project, Europeana, the central European collection of cultural heritage, was enriched with more than 8,000 items – from videos, photos to 3D models. As a specialist for 3D materials, Arctur focused mainly on displaying 3D models and developed 3D WEAVER, which enables safe storage, fast display and convenient functions (e.g. measurement of distances, surfaces, angles) in large 3D materials. 3D WEAVER is integrated with Europeana and will thus enable a greater amount of 3D materials on the European portal. 3D models of Slovenian cultural heritage, which were digitised as part of DIKD projects (2019-2022), are already visible at Europeana.
