At the business forum that was held in Luxembourg a special emphasis was given to tourism, the space sector and woodworking. The conference on space industries was attended by representatives of Slovenian companies and research institutions that are already active in the space industry and successfully cooperate with the European Space Agency (ESA). The purpose was to strengthen entrepreneurial cooperation in various fields, from earth observation to satellite communication and cooperation in joint projects in the space sector.
Tomi Ilijaš, Arctur’s CEO, presented Tourism 4.0 ice-breaking project and activities. The focus of Tourism 4.0 is to enable decision-makers easy access to data and their use with the aim to increase the quality of life of the local community and all other sustainable indicators. In the SD4TIM project, we explore the practical use of satellite data by local decision-makers by combining the data of the Tourism Impact Model with data on air quality and land surface temperature data.
