The TOURBIT project (Fostering digitalisation of European Tourism SMEs) aims at selecting innovative digitalisation projects proposed by tourism SMEs and provide them with direct financial support in the framework of the TOURBIT Digital Acceleration Programme.
This ‘Call for proposals for SMEs’ provides information about the offering, tourism projects that re being sought, requirements that must be met, and the process to apply.
TOURBIT Digital Acceleration Programme
The Call for proposals for SMEs is launched within the framework of the TOURBIT Digital Acceleration Programme. The Digital Acceleration Programme is one of the core activities of the TOURBIT project for the digital transformation path of tourism SMEs, providing tourism SMEs with funding of 8.000 – 9.000 € to implement digitalisation project in the company and a pool of expert service providers to support the project implementation.
The projects need to relate to one or several of subjects such as digitalisation, automatisation or improvement of internal processes (digital workspace solutions, data analytics etc.), digitalisation, automatisation or improvement of client relations and online presence (digital marketing, sales solutions etc.) improvement of products or services using digital technologies (artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain etc.), involving one or several activities, such as planning (development, establishment etc.) of digitalisation strategies and action plans, the improvement of digital capacities of staff, and investment in (and implementation) of digital tools and solutions.
All applicants are required to submit their project proposal before the deadline: 5 April 2023.
